In 2001 the International Drive Resort Area Chamber of Commerce launched the highly acclaimed Tourism Orlando™ Leadership Program. Held one day a month, this exciting 10 month experience enables program participants to learn about the vast components and aspects of the tourism industry while networking with fellow participants. Now in it’s 16th year, over 700 people have graduated from Tourism Orlando™.
April 24th: Learn the intricate part the healthcare system plays in the tourism industry. Tour Dr. P. Phillips Hospital and the ORMC medical facility downtown. Explore the many facets of healthcare and learn what happens when a tourist finds himself in need of care.
